Licensing agreement signed with National Broadcaster to broadcast VOA content: Following the signing of the agreement with the Broadcasting Board of Governors on April 6th, Embassy Dili handed over codes that will permit the national state radio and television broadcaster, RTTL, to broadcast Voice of America content, which will greatly expand international news coverage, educational programming and English language programming in the future. This agreement will also allow for RTTL to use VOA content in its daily news broadcasts in instead of downloading content from youtube.
