Immigrant Visas: Diversity Visa Program

The Immigration Act of 1990 established the Diversity Visa (DV) program, which is administered by the Department of State.  The program aims to diversify the immigrant population of the United States by selecting applicants mostly from countries with low rates of immigration to the United States in the previous five years.

DV-2023 program registration will run from 12:00 EDT on October 6, 2021, through 12:00 EST on November 9, 2021.
